Booking is acceptance

When you book a session with First Strike Laser Tag, or take part in one, you and everyone in your group accept these terms. The person who makes the booking is responsible for making sure everyone in the group understands them.

It is a physical activity

Laser tag is active outdoor play on natural and uneven ground. Running, crouching, dodging and crawling are part of it. There is a real chance of minor knocks, trips, slips and scrapes. Everyone takes part at their own risk and is responsible for playing within their own limits.

If you have a health condition that could be affected by physical exertion, do not play without checking with your doctor first, and tell the game master on the day so they can adjust the session.

Participants under 18

Anyone under 18 takes part with the permission of a parent or guardian. By booking a session that includes minors, the person booking confirms they have the consent of each minor's parent or guardian for that child to take part.

Safety rules

The game master has final say on safety at all times, and everyone must follow their instructions. The basic rules: wear the safety gear you are given, no deliberate physical contact, closed-toe shoes only, and no climbing or unsafe behaviour.

Alcohol is allowed at venues where it is permitted, but not to the point that it affects safe play. The game master has the final say and can stop a session or remove anyone who is playing unsafely or putting others at risk, with no refund.

Equipment

All gear is provided. Use it the way the game master shows you. Normal wear is expected and fine. Damage caused by deliberate misuse or rough handling may be charged to the person who made the booking.

Photos and video

We sometimes take photos and video at sessions and events to use in our marketing. If you or anyone in your group would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, tell the game master on the day or email us beforehand and we will work around it. Cancellations and weather

If you cancel within 7 days of your session, you receive a 50% refund. Within 72 hours of your session, cancellations are non-refundable.

Sessions run in most weather. If conditions are unsafe we can relocate to a suitable indoor venue rather than cancel. If we do have to cancel, you receive a full refund.
