First Strike Laser Tag
FSLT gun and headband sensor on grass

Industry-leading kit.And we make
it better.

FSLT runs Netronic gear, an industry-leading outdoor laser tag platform, with our own custom additions on top.

[01]The kit we run

Netronic gear,
tuned by us.

Netronic is industry-leading kit for outdoor laser tag. Strong IR performance in sunlight, realistic gun handling with actual recoil, modular weapon platforms, and a full range of equipment beyond just rifles.

We run the full Netronic platform and layer our own custom-built additions on top. Field props, scenario hardware, scoring integrations and the dog tag and token system are all built in-house at FSLT.

We have our own next-generation system in development. It is not deployed yet. When it is, it will extend the experience further than any off-the-shelf platform can.

[01]

Real recoil on guns

Netronic guns have genuine kick when you fire. Not a vibrating toy. Adds the physical feedback that flat laser tag gear is missing.

[02]

Outdoor-rated IR signal

Tuned for open-air performance. Works in direct sunlight at realistic engagement distances. Holds up at the ranges Cottermouth needs.

[03]

Headband sensors

Worn on the forehead. Active on multiple sides. Harder to game by turning your body than vest-based sensors.

[04]

Weapon variety

Standard guns, sniper rifles, heavy machine guns, rocket launchers. Different weapons have different rates of fire, range and ammo behaviour.

[05]

FSLT custom additions

Field props, dog tag system, FSLT tokens, scope upgrade flow and game master controls are all built and maintained in-house.

[06]

Continuous improvement

We iterate on the kit between sessions. Field props, scenario logic and progression hardware are refined session after session.

[02]The kit

Beyond
the blaster.

The props, sensors and extras that turn a field into a battlefield. For the weapon range and player classes, see the experience.

Grenades
[01]

Grenades

Throwable. IR-based, registered by sensors in blast radius. Adds a real area-of-effect layer that flat laser tag does not have.

Domination box
[02]

Domination box

Objective prop for Domination game modes. Teams fight to capture and hold the box. Changes hands in real time, displayed on the game master screen.

Riot shield
[03]

Riot shield

Defensive prop for scenario play. Provides real physical cover, changing team tactics around it. Available in select game modes.

Smoke grenades
[04]

Smoke grenades

Available at Cottermouth. Throwable smoke for concealment and suppression. Adds a tactical layer that no other laser tag operator in Canberra can offer.

Shock bands
[05]

Shock bands

Optional haptic feedback bands. Add a physical hit sensation beyond the headband sensor. Available on request for players who want the extra immersion.

Headband sensor
[06]

Headband sensor

Worn on the forehead. Registers hits from all sides. Tracks lives. When you are out, the sensor signals it clearly.

Scope attachment
[07]

Scope attachment

Modular upgrade redeemable with FSLT tokens. Clips to the standard gun, extends effective range. Returned at end of session.

Dog tag
[08]

Dog tag

Issued before each session. Winnable from opponents in certain game modes. Collectible, different designs per session.

Field props and cover
[09]

Field props and cover

Inflatable bunkers, themed scenario props, cover positions. Positioned differently at each venue to shape how play flows.

[03]What to bring

Clothes you can
move in.

All gear is provided on arrival. Bring nothing except clothes you are comfortable running, crouching and crawling in. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Dark or camouflage clothing helps. It is not required, but players in bright gear are easier targets.

The gear is part of the experience. Nothing describes it as well as picking one up on the field.
